FUN DAY ACTIVITIES

Those eligible to participate are NVMA members and immediate families; veterinarians from out of state that are members of their state associations and their immediate families; pharmaceutical representatives registered to exhibit at the 2008 Annual Convention; and veterinary students enrolled in an accredited veterinary college.


THURSDAY, JUNE 19, 2008

O.E. “DOC” HUNDLEY MEMORIAL NVMA GOLF TOURNAMENT
(registration form enclosed)
Golf will be at the Whispering Creek Golf Club. This will be a 3-4 person Scramble. Teams will be formed according to skill levels. Cost will be $60 per golfer (includes green fees, 1/2 cart, 2 drinks & lunch). Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. CDT with complimentary coffee and donuts. Tee times start at 8:30 a.m. Be sure to include your email address on the registration form for notification of tee time. Lunch will be served at approx. 1:30. Mark and pay on the convention registration form.
Deadline for entering is June 13, 2008.

NVMA TEAM ROPING
A team roping will be held at the Atokad Fairgrounds starting at 9:00 a.m. CDT. Stalls are available at the fairgrounds. Bring your own bedding, feed and water buckets. Additional information on the team roping is found on the insert enclosed.

SPORTING CLAYS
We are going to try this one more time, so if you want to shoot come out and join the fun! This will take place at Sumac Sporting Clays in Homer. We will start shooting at 10:00 a.m. They do sell shells for $6.25 per box if you need them. Mark and pay on the convention registration form. Deadline for registering is June 9, 2008.

“STEAK FRY”—SPONSORED BY PVP
For those involved in the Fun Day Activities and the early arrivals for the educational sessions on Friday and Saturday, there will be a steak fry Thursday evening sponsored by PVP. They will start serving food between 5:30—6:00 p.m. CDT at the Atokad facility. Please indicate on the registration form if you will be attending as a count is needed
