NVMA Auxiliary
The Auxiliary members devote much of their time and energy to raising funds for the Foundation. In 2009 they had a book published, Tales of Tails It is a compilation of stories written by and about Nebraska Veterinarians. The proceeds of the book will be used to increase the size and number of scholarships given in the name of the Auxiliary. The book is full of fun and compelling stories and would make a great gift. Consider buying several to give to friends and clients. To purchase the book contact an auxiliary officer or the NVMA office (402-463-4704).
NCSF Fellows
The Foundation board of directors authorized the NCSF Fellows in 2008. Any person wishing to further the goals and ideals of the foundation may become a “Fellow” by donating $ 1,000 or more. Fellows receive a pin and a plaque and are recognized at the annual NVMA meeting in January. Donations may be made in a lump sum or by annual installments not to exceed 4 years. MATCHING FUNDS
For a limited time, the NVMA has budgeted funds to MATCH personal donations to the foundation up to $ 1,000 per person. You can effectively double your gift by donating now. Contact one of the NVMA CSF officers or the NVMA office (402-463-4704) to make your donation.
ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIPS
Individuals interested in established an endowed scholarship may contact a Foundation board member. A gift of $ 10,000 or more will provide a perpetual scholarship to honor an individual or family of the donor’s choice. Donors may wish to consider a gift of stock or property to utilize the tax advantages of giving appreciated assets.
