Yankee Hill Veterinary Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska is a privately owned hospital looking for a skilled, fun, and energetic veterinary technician to join our fantastic 6 doctor veterinary team. We have all the tools and toys! We have the brightest vets around and are looking for a full-time technician. These positions don’t open often, so don't wait to apply!

Typical days worked are Mondays through Fridays and one Saturday a month. Exact weekday hours are to be determined. Full time is approximately 40 hours/week. currently licensed
able to closely monitor patients under anesthesia
proficient in IV catheter placement, blood draws and giving parenteral injections

willing to greet clients and co-workers with a smile and promote a positive environment.
Job Overview:

Our Veterinary Technicians are responsible for a variety of tasks related to customer service and patient care within the veterinary practice. Tasks include animal handling, surgical patient care, creating and presenting estimates, accurately entering service charges into the client processing database, extensive client interaction, preparing medications, and maintaining a clean environment.
