The Professional and Consumer Relations Committee oversees client complaints and often helps resolve concerns before legal or professional licensure action is initiated.
NVMA participates in the Birthing Pavilion at the Nebraska State Fair, helping connect the public with veterinary professionals and providing education about animal health, welfare, and care.
The Animal Hall of Fame Award is one of NVMA’s public relations programs recognizing animals and highlighting the importance of the human-animal bond.
NVMA provides veterinary-care vouchers to graduates of service dog team programs to help with the ongoing care of their animals.
